Being N-Dubz is similar to our film because of the layout. First, the band is introduced and background information is given on Tulisa, Dappy and Fazer. We are doing this in our documentary. In the introduction when Fazer is saying "boom, brap, big up yo'self, nana ni,innit", he is using language that appeals to his target audience, and mainly because this is how he speaks. They also include freeze frames with their names. We intend to put freeze frames in our documentary, the names of the individuals and the instrument they play will appear on the screen. The aim of the Being N-Dubz documentary is for fans to understand where they came from and what they have had to cope with, as both individuals and a band. There is also about a minute and a half in the opening segment of the documentary that outlines what the viewers can expect to see in future episodes. This documentary is filmed on location- at the studio, at music festivals.

The Saturdays 24/7 also uses a similar layout to Being N-Dubz. Clips from the coming episodes are featured in the opening minutes, and the voiceover tells the audience what they can expect from The Saturdays as the series goes on. Stills are also used as the band members are introduced, and the audience are told their names and a statement about them. E.g "Frankie, voted one of the world's most sexiest women, and a real prankster." Using this technique, we can see what the individuals are like and how they behave as a band. This technique is what we would like to use in ours to allow use to get extra/background information across to our viewers. The Saturdays 24/7 is filmed on location- at photoshoots, festivals, in the car because it is a documentary on being a member of The Saturdays. Whenever music used, it is music that is in the charts. People can recognise these songs because they are popular and appeal to a vast audience. Also, The Saturdays are a pop band.

Paramore are another band that have filmed documentaries. They have released behind-the-scenes DVD's of their 'The Final Riot!' tour. As well as this, they have filmed for MTV. This documentary has features that would appeal to our target audience. The documentary is funny and entertaining and Paramore are a young band that have generated lots of interest in the industry. The documentary shows how the band are as a group and also as individuals. We aim to do this in 'Undiscovered- Barnsley.' As this is a DVD documenting the last show of their RIOT! tour is is filmed on the tour bus and on stage (on location). Music in this documentary are Paramore songs. It is their Final Riot! tour so the documentary is about them, it makes sense to use only their own music.
